Getting/recording/capturing/saving streaming video from YouTube.

Record from YouTube like from any Flash plugin using HTTP protocol to stream .FLV videos

It's easy to capture YouTube™ videos. Using Shadow Stream Recorder from Mini-stream Software, you can save anything you see on YouTube. Videos from YouTube and like sites are transmitted and captured in FLV format.

Here is how to record YouTube video with Shadow Stream Recorder:

  1. Download and install a copy of Shadow Stream Recorder.
  2.  Open Shadow Stream Recorder.
  3. Play the video in YouTube. Once it's done playing, a copy of the video is in your PC's cache. It's necessary to refresh your browser.
  4. Recording starts automatically. The RECORD button turns to STOP. Once the recording begins you can start playing and recording another video / audio clip. There is no need to wait until the play is finished.
  5. To end one or more recordings click STOP and select the desired action from the pop-up menu. If you're recording fixed length clips, TV shows or movies, the recording ends automatically, and there's no need to click STOP.
